According to Balbir Singh’s son Ramchandra, there was heavy rain on reaching Ardhkumari. The ships placed Balbir Singh on the horse and said that they would meet below. But when both grandchildren reached down, their grandfather did not meet there. The next day both grandchildren waited for Dada at the railway station. On receiving no information, he returned to the village on 23 August.
