The Haryana government has decided to give reservation in government jobs to the firemen returning from the army. For this, the government has issued a notification and has been sent to DCs, departments of departments, boards, corporations and universities of all districts.

According to the rules, former Natives of the state will get 1% in Group-B jobs, 5% in Group-C, 20% in Police Constable Recruitment and 10% in Forest Department.
However, after completing the army service to the Agnivirs, the matter of giving reservation in direct recruitment is still under consideration.

These decisions were also taken in the notification .. 1. The notification issued by the Haryana government has written that the government has also decided that in the event of the absence of former Agniveer suitable for a post, that post can be filled in the appropriate candidate of the respective category of vertical reservation.
2. Apart from this, the government has also decided that former Agniveer will be exempted from physical examination examination for recruitment to the posts of Police Constable (Home Department), Forest Guard (Environment, Forest and Wildlife Department), Warder (Prison Department), Mining Guard (Mining and Ministry Department), which is a part of the eligibility criteria for recruitment to these posts.
3. For recruitment to these group-C posts, he will also be exempted from the examination related to skill expertise received by Agniveer during his training, but former Agniveer will have to give the “writ exam” set by the recruitment agency for the advertised posts. This exemption will be given by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) at the time of the application of advertisement issued for such posts.
