The Indian Medical Association (IMA) met in Hisar on Saturday. IMA District President Dr. Renu Chhabra Bhatia said that so far no concrete solution has been found from the government. He alleged that the government is trying to hide its shortcomings by sending notices to hospitals and harassing doctors.
A state level meeting has been called in Panipat on August 24 on this issue, in which the outline of the upcoming movement will be decided. Doctors say that they have to take this step in compulsion due to continuous delay.

The scheme is not getting benefits from August 7 Dr. Renu Chhabra said that card holders were being treated under the Ayushman Bharat-Ayushman Haryana scheme of about 655 private hospitals in the state, which has been closed since August 7. In Hisar district alone, 70 private hospitals were being served under Ayushman Yojana.
The IMA has been forced to take this decision due to the delay in payment by the government. He said that private hospitals registered with Ayushman Bharat Yojana of Haryana state have been facing serious problems for the last several months.
Since March 2025, many hospitals have not received any payment from the government. Still private hospitals owe 400 to 500 crores.
Hospitals are suffering heavy financial losses He alleged that unnecessary and arbitrary deductions are deducted in the claimed amount without clear reason, causing huge financial loss to hospitals. Despite the timely uploading data entry and claim by hospitals on the portal, the claims are rejected due to technical flaws.
For many health services, the governments are extremely low by the government, which has made it impossible to remove the cost. Repeated demand for documents and high delay in the process of claim is increasing administrative burden. Repeated treatment for the same patient is excluded from the scheme.
This is not only affecting the functionality of hospitals, but is also affecting the purchase of salaries and medicines/equipment of employees.
