The big mountain fell on the road this morning on National Highway-5 connecting Shillai in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The tipper and an AYUSH department came on the road in its grip. The driver of both the vehicles narrowly survived.

If there was a landslide at a place called Kali Dhank near Satoun, there would have been a big accident if there was no paraffet on the road. Due to this, both vehicles could turn down the road with a collision of big rocks.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain for 96 hours. Western Disturbance (WD) has become active in the state from today. There has been cloud and thick mist in Shimla since this morning. Meteorological Center Shimla has today predicted heavy to very heavy rains at one or two places in Kangra, Chamba and Mandi districts.
People have been asked to be vigilant in these districts. At the same time, rain has been alerted in Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Solan districts.

30 incidents of cloudburst
This season, 54 incidents of landslide, 58 of flash floods and 30 incidents of cloudburst have come in the state. This has caused heavy loss to both life and goods.
