Scared of Nehru Kund’s flow, local MLAs and officials reached the spot along with JCB at night. He then stopped the restoration of water moving towards the foundation of the bridge.
The water level of Beas also increased after heavy rains in the areas around Manali. After the rain stops this morning, the water level of Beas has started decreasing.

Monsoon will be a little weak from today

The state has received 10 percent more rainfall than normal in the monsoon season so far. Shimla received 71 percent more than normal, 61%in Mandi, 27%in Bilaspur, 40%in Hamirpur, 6%in Kangra, 26%in Kullu, 26%in Sirmaur, 10%in Solan and 22%more in Una district.
