In response to this, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh
,
Both the MPs had come to participate in the ‘Disha’ meeting held at the Mini Secretariat in Bhiwani. This meeting is held to review government grants and government schemes for development works. The issue of waterlogging dominated the meeting. This time there was waterlogging in more than 30 villages of Bhiwani. Many villages including Sangwan, Talu remained filled with water for more than a month. The entire village had to be evacuated and boats had to be operated. Apart from the MPs, Bhiwani MLA Ghanshyam Saraf and DC Sahil Gupta were also present in the meeting.

Read in detail…What allegations did the Hisar MP make?
- Good work was done during Hooda’s time, now action is being taken with a sense of revenge: Talking to the media after the meeting, Hisar MP Jaiprakash said that this is not a natural but an administrative disaster. The irrigation department was a complete failure. The drain that comes out worked well till 2014 when Bhupendra Singh Hooda was the Chief Minister. After this, either the action is being taken out of revenge or they are engaged in spoiling the farmers of this area. Because again they did not tie any edge. Due to which flood has occurred.
- Irrigation department and government are guilty, withdrawal should be done before 31st October: JP said that the entire irrigation department and government are guilty. This responsibility is of the government. Drainage arrangements have to be completed by June 15. Whatever may be the government, be it Congress, INLD or BJP. This is the work of the administrative officers, but who will get it done is the responsibility of the government. The fault in this lies with the BJP government sitting in Chandigarh. Now arrangements for drainage should be made before 31st October. If water is not drained by 31st then sowing of wheat is not possible.
- Bhiwani did not develop after 2014: MP Jayprakash said that BJP formed the government in Haryana by stealing votes. When a government is formed by suppressing the rights of the people, it is natural that it will not take care of the poor and farmers. Posts in departments are lying vacant, farmers and laborers are unhappy. There was no development in Bhiwani after 2014. Since 2014, Dharambir Singh has been the MP of Bhiwani-Mahendragarh continuously.

BJP MP Dharmbir said that the water that came to Bhiwani was from Hisar Lok Sabha.
Now know…what answer did the Bhiwani MP give?
- Hisar-Rohtak responsible for waterlogging in Bhiwani: Shortly after this statement of Congress MP came out, BJP MP Dharmbir Singh came in front of the media. He responded to JP’s point. Said- I believe that Hisar and Rohtak are responsible for the waterlogging in Bhiwani district. Because water came here from their part only.
- This water was not ours, it belonged to Hisar Lok Sabha: Dharambir said that most of the water is from Hisar Lok Sabha constituency, where the colleague (JP) is now talking. Their water came here, via Mundhal. Due to which this water destroyed even villages Sangwan and Tosham.
- Will try to ensure that it does not come in future: MP Dharambir said that we will try to ensure that this water does not come here in future. Its exit should be there and this type of design should be made. It is noteworthy that Dharambir has mentioned Rohtak and Hisar. There are Congress MPs at both the places. Deependra Hooda is MP from Rohtak and Jaiprakash JP is MP from Hisar.

There was waterlogging in the school of MP Dharambir’s village Talu.
MP’s own village remained submerged, boats floated in Sangwan This time there was waterlogging in at least 30 villages of Bhiwani district. In which BJP MP Dharambir’s native village Talu was also included. Not only this, Sangwan and Dhanana villages of Shruti Chaudhary’s constituency Tosham were most affected. More than 1000 houses had to be evacuated here. There was 5 to 8 feet of water here for more than a month and there was a need to run boats in the village.
