The purpose of this air show is to motivate the youth so that they can dream of becoming the Indian Air Force and Pilot in the coming times. A 13 -pilot contingent of Surya Kiran team will show amazing feats for three hours with its aircraft.
Sometimes all the aircraft in the Akash will make the formation together, sometimes they will do aerobatic shows divided into different teams. During these tricks, the aircraft will fly at a speed of 150 km per hour to 650 kmph.
Martyr Wing Commander also invited The emotional aspect of this show is also special. The Surya Kiran team has personally invited the family of Martyr Wing Commander Sahil Gandhi of Hisar. In 2019, Sahil Gandhi was martyred after two aircraft of Surya Kiran collided in Bengaluru. His martyrdom will also be saluted through the air show.
