The Meteorological Department (IMD) said that rain will continue in many parts of the country till December. In Chhattisgarh, 4 people have died due to rain and lightning on Wednesday. 2 women in Gariaband district and 2 youths in Raigad district lost their lives. There is alert of strong rain for the next 3 days in 28 districts of the state.

There is also rain alert in 36 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The 100 -year -old Shiva temple collapsed due to rain and lightning in Jalaun on Wednesday. It was here that a 55 -year -old farmer died after being hit by electricity.

Bihar received heavy rains in 18 districts on Wednesday. One has died of celestial lightning in Buxar. Due to continuous rains, the roads in Supaul and Khagaria have been flooded. The system in the pandals in Nalanda has deteriorated. IMD has issued rain alert in 24 districts.

This monsoon season 8% more rain in the country
