Clouds erupted at 4 places in Kullu and Shimla in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday evening. The river-drains were flooded after a cloudburst in Srikhand and Tirthan Valley of Kullu, Nanti village of Facha in Shimla district and Kashapath. Half of Ganvi’s market was submerged after cloudburst in Nanti.
Due to cloudburst in Srikhand and Kashapath, there was a flood in the quarrel and Nogli Khad. People from low -lying areas have been asked to be vigilant and not go to the river bank. Bagipul Bazaar was evacuated in view of the rage form of the Kurpan Khad. After cloudburst in the pilgrimage valley of Kullu, 3 vehicles and 3 tamperry sheds were swept away. A bridge was also broken here.
Here, rain continues in Bihar. On Wednesday, 14 districts including Patna, Hajipur, Gopalganj received heavy rains since morning. Many areas of Patna were flooded. The boat overturned in the flood waters due to the strong wind in Lakhisarai. The people on the boat jumped into the water to save their lives. The incident is from Maharamchak village of Barhiya block. A video of this incident has also surfaced.
The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of rain in Telangana on Thursday. At the same time, yellow alert has been issued in 21 states including Orange and Rajasthan-Bihar in 11 states including UP-MP.
