After heavy rains in eight districts of Punjab, more than 1000 villages have been flood -like conditions. So far 8 people have died in the flood. 3 people are missing.

This has affected Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur and Fazilka so far. From here, 11,330 people have been evacuated to safe places.
