PM Modi hoisted the flag on 12th Independence Day as Prime Minister.
The 79th Independence Day is being celebrated in the country on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wore a saffron colored turban for the fourth time. The flag was hoisted on the Red Fort for the 12th time as PM. She was accompanied by flying officer Rashika Sharma. During the PM’s address, flowers were lashed through the MI-16 helicopter. He had a flag of operation vermilion. The wide angle picture of the Red Fort surfaced. People were seen wearing polythene to avoid rain.
