In the Asia Cup 2025, there is a match between India and Pakistan in Dubai today. This match is being opposed all over the country. This is the first time after the Pahalgam attack on 22 April and Operation Sindoor on May 7, when the cricket teams of the two countries will be face to face.
This match is being opposed across the country. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the government whether the money earned from the match is more valuable than the lives of 26 civilians killed in the Pahalgam attack.
Here, Uddhav Thackeray of the Shiv Sena UBT faction in Maharashtra said that the party’s women workers will collect vermilion and send it to the Prime Minister.
The victim’s family said- Now the operation vermilion seems useless
The family of the victims of the Pahalgam attack criticized the government for a cricket match between India and Pakistan. Sawan Parmar, who lost his father and brother in the attack, said that Operation Sindoor now seems useless. Sawan said-
When we came to know that India vs Pakistan match was being held, we got very upset. There should not be any kind of relationship with Pakistan … If you want to play the match, bring back my 16 -year -old brother, who got so many bullets.
Sawan’s mother Kiran Yatish Parmar questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi that if the operation vermilion has not been completed yet, then why is the match being held. I want to tell all the people of the country to meet the families who lost their loved ones in the Pahalgam terror attack and see how sad they are. Our wounds are not yet filled.

BCCI members will not go to Dubai to watch the match
The BCCI is an official host of the tournament, but most of the board officials will not go to watch the match. However, the Executive Chairman of the Board can go to Rajiv Shukla, as he is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has written a letter to PM Modi appealing to stop the broadcast of the Indo-Pakistan Asia Cup match.
