PM Modi said- The basis of India’s progress is research and innovation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that India is now in a position to get the world out of slow growth rate.
He said that we are not people throwing pebbles in stagnant water. We also have the strength to turn the sharp flowing stream. India now also has the ability to give direction to the stream of time.
The PM said- India is now going to get a big milestone. The country will soon export electric vehicles (EVS) to 100 countries. The basis of India’s progress is research and innovation.
He said that the research purchased from outside (abroad) is enough for living only, but cannot fulfill the big aspirations of India. The central government has constantly made policies and new platforms to promote research.
India is now sending not only vehicles, but also sending metro coaches, rail coaches and locomotives (rail engines) abroad. He said this in the ET World Leaders Forum 2025.

Big things about PM’s address
- Before 2014, India’s automobile exports were around ₹ 50,000 crore annually. Today it has increased to ₹ 1.2 lakh crore annually.

- Recently S&P Global Rating has upgraded India’s credit rating. This upgrade has occurred after about 20 years.
- India is going to become the third largest economy in the world in the coming times. Our contribution to our global development will reach 20%. The strong macro economic stability made in the last 10 years is behind it.
- Active participation of industry and private sector is necessary. Emphasized on increasing research and investment in areas such as clean energy, quantum technology, battery storage, advanced materials and biotechnology.
