The temple was accused of exploitation of workers and human trafficking. It was also alleged that during the construction of the temple, workers were paid only $ 1.20 per hour.
The investigation of these allegations started in the year 2021. In the investigation by the US Department of Justice, the claims of those claims were also wrong that the workers were seduced by India for the construction of the temple. The investigation also proved that the temple was built by volunteers.
The investigation team has said in its report that there was no evidence supporting the claims of any wrongdoing by BAPS. Hence the investigation was stopped on Thursday (September 18).
