I was lying in the cabin watching the reel on the mobile. Suddenly a loud sound came. When we saw, the cabin of a tanker behind had become a ball of fire. The truck filled with cylinders had caught fire. I jumped out of the truck and ran into the fields. Within 3 to 5 minutes, two burning cylinders came and hit the cabin of my truck. Had it been a little longer, I too would have turned into coal.

On the night of October 7, a chemical tanker hit a parked truck filled with domestic gas cylinders from behind. The accident took place near Sarawada village on Jaipur-Ajmer Expressway. The collision was so severe that within a moment the cabin of the tanker filled with 35 thousand liters of dangerous inflammable chemical became a ball of fire.
Within some time the gas cylinders also caught fire. Within no time the cylinders started exploding. The cylinders exploded and jumped 40 to 50 feet. The blasts were heard up to 3 to 4 km. When people hid in the fields to escape, the drivers ran their vehicles in reverse.
Immediately after the accident, Bhaskar reached the spot and talked to the eyewitnesses and explained the whole matter.
After the accident, several cylinders exploded one after the other. Their explosions were heard several kilometers away.
The driver of the tanker filled with chemicals was left in tatters in the accident. Senior Civil Defense employee Asrar Ahmed and 108 ambulance employee Hanif, who were the first to reach the tanker, said – After extinguishing the fire, we reached the cabin.
Looked inside and there was no one on the driver’s seat. There was just a lump of meat lying there. That lump was badly stuck to the seat. There were teeth, skull fragments, toes and other remains on the seat. Everyone was collected, put in a bag and sent to SMS mortuary for postmortem/DNA. It is being told that this truck filled with chemicals was coming from Nasirabad (Ajmer).
Another injured Saddam, 27, was first referred to Dudu and from there through SMS. The driver of the tanker has not been identified yet. The driver of the truck filled with cylinders is missing.
More than three dozen fire tenders arrived from Kishangarh (Ajmer), Sambhar (Jaipur), Phulera (Jaipur), Jaipur city and Muhana (Jaipur) to control the fire. Firefighter Kanaram, who came from Jaipur, got injured in his right leg during the rescue operation. He was taken to SMS Hospital.
Asrar Ahmed of the Civil Defense team said that when we reached the spot, only one fire engine was present. It was standing on the other side of the road. The fire was controlled with great difficulty. Collector sir also reached the spot along with us.
The flames were 25 to 30 feet high Hanif, an employee of Dudu 108 ambulance, is one of the first to reach the spot after the accident. Hanif says- When we reached Sarawada, the flames were 25 to 30 feet high. I didn’t even have the courage to go to the truck. Made a video of the incident from about a kilometer away and kept waiting for the fire to subside.
Meanwhile the cylinders started bursting. The cylinders were bursting one after the other like Diwali firecrackers. Only balls of fire were visible in the sky. Two cylinders fell on the Saawariya Hotel on the other side of the road. One hit the chairs. Three-four plastic chairs and a window were also damaged. The second cylinder fell in the empty field behind the hotel.

Ravi told- I had stopped at Mahadev Dhaba at 5 pm to have food and rest. At 10 pm, I was lying in the cabin of my truck watching reels on mobile. Suddenly there was a heavy collision from behind. I got scared after hearing the sound. When I got down, I saw that the cabin of a tanker behind had become a ball of fire. A truck filled with gas cylinders was also in the grip of fire. I ran and hid in the fields behind Mahadev Dhaba.
Just 3 to 5 minutes later, two burning cylinders came and hit the cabin of my truck. The entire cabin was destroyed. If I had waited even a little longer to leave, I would not have been alive today.
Saawariya Hotel owner Santosh Singh Rawat told that he has been running the dhaba here for years. Saw such an accident for the first time. I was handling the counter when the accident happened. As soon as the accident came to light, we left the hotel and ran away. When I returned, I was shocked by the sight of devastation.
Water poured on chemical tanker for five hours It is feared that about 200 cylinders loaded in the truck exploded. However, due to darkness and chaos, it is still difficult to estimate the exact number of cylinders. Looking at these cylinders made of thick iron sheet, it was difficult to tell which of them was the cylinder and which was the body of the truck. Torn and broken pieces of cylinders were found scattered about 30 feet away from the accident.
The heat of the fire can be gauged from the fact that the rain water lying on the roadside was lukewarm for 3 hours after the accident. To prevent the temperature of the tanker filled with chemicals from increasing, water was poured on it continuously for 5 hours. After the accident, there was a traffic jam from Dudu to Mokhampura. Traffic started moving smoothly at 4 am on Wednesday.

Truck driver said – RTO bothers, hence accidents The drivers present at the dhabas and hotels on the highway told off camera – From Dudu to Sawarda, Gidani, Dharam Kanta, Mokhampura, Padasoli, Dantri and Bagru on the highway, the RTO loading trucks harass the drivers. Demand money. To avoid these, drivers try to drive away from these spots at speed. Sometimes, due to chasing, big heavy vehicles go out of control.
More than 20 people have lost their lives in a year. On September 27, before Sawarda, the driver of a rear truck was burnt to death in a collision between two trucks on the same highway.
After the accident, the half-burnt cylinders were telling the whole story.
No one could go near for one and a half to two hours Ambulance worker Dilip Singh Meena said – The accident happened at 10 pm. The fire was so terrible that we could not go closer to extinguish the fire for one and a half to two hours. When the situation became somewhat normal, rescue operations started.
Dudu’s Jeetu had reached there after hearing the explosion. Jeetu says- After reaching here, 7-8 cylinders exploded in front of me. Police and administration controlled the situation in time and stopped the traffic. In such a situation, there was no vehicle for about 5 kilometers around the accident.
Laxman Singh, driver of the passenger bus, says – I was traveling three vehicles behind the tanker with which the accident occurred. The tanker was in speed. Went and collided directly with the truck. A fire broke out immediately after the collision. Cylinders started bursting. We asked the riders to run and hide in a safe place away from the fields and the accident.
Manish Patidar, who came to Ajmer from Madhya Pradesh, said- There were 6 people in my car. He was walking only 100 meters behind the tanker that hit him. After the collision, cylinders started falling from the truck. A fire broke out. Seeing this I sensed danger. I immediately took a U turn and took the car back away from the accident.
