On August 4, Mahendra Prasad was arrested by security agencies from DRDO’s guest house. He was suspected to send important information of strategic importance to the Pakistani handler through his mobile. He was taken to Jaipur after questioning in Jaisalmer. After the technical report of mobile phones came here, a case was registered on it (under the Government Gupta Baat Act 1923) tax was arrested.

He has been arrested for leaking and sending the important security related information to Pak handler.

DRDO sent information from scientists and military officers Mahendra Prasad was working as a manager in the guest house of DRDO located in the Pokaran Field Firing Range of Jaisalmer. During this time he was in the contact of Pakistani intelligence agency through social media. The Field Firing Range was providing confidential information related to the movement of DRDO scientists and Indian Army officers for testing of missiles and other weapons in Jaisalmer.

Dr. Vishnukant, IG of Police CID (Security), said- Security agencies from suspected Mahendra Prasad were found to provide a joint inquiry and conducted technical tests of his mobile, providing sensitive information related to DRDO and Indian Army.
