Ghumman had announced to contest assembly elections in Punjab in 2027. He had also posted a post regarding this on social media. Ghumman had asked his fans whether he should contest the elections in 2027 on behalf of any party or as an independent candidate.
Along with this, Ghumman had written that by winning the elections, he will make the youth of Punjab aware about sports. Due to which the young generation will also get employment. The increasing interest of youth in sports can eliminate drug addiction.
