The encounter started on the night of 1 August in Akhhal area of Kulgam.

Security forces continue to encounter terrorists for the fourth consecutive day in Akhhal forests in Kulgam, Kashmir. So far, two terrorists have been killed in this operation. 4 soldiers have also been injured. One of them was injured on Monday morning. The jawan was admitted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
