In this accident, truck driver Amit Kumar, originally from Panipat and Hall Karnal, died. After the incident, the police and fire brigade team reached the spot, but by then the truck was completely burnt.
The investigation of the accident has been started and the body will be handed over only after the DNA report comes to the families of the deceased.

24 -year -old Amit was a resident of Karnal: Amit Kumar was originally from Kurana village in Panipat. Whose family has been living near the new grain market of Karnal for the last two decades. Amit used to work in America with his elder brother Ankit. Ankit went to America in 2016 by Danki Route and settled there. Amit’s desire to go to America, sold land and completed it by spending 60 lakh rupees. Amit also reached America in 2023 by Danki route.
The accident happened at 9:30 in the morning: According to the US time, the accident occurred at the Exit 166 of Arknas Eye-40 Highway at around 9:30 am on September 11. At the time of the accident, Amit was returning by emptying the truck. As soon as he came out after putting diesel from the fuel pump, then an oversized loaded truck hit his truck from the right side. The collision was so fast that Amit’s truck hit the roadside trees and at the same time the cabin diesel tank was blasted. Shortly, the rear tank also exploded and the truck became a fireball. Amit was alive alive in the flames and could not get out.
Family sold land, then sent America: Harpal Singh said that Amit had dreamed of going to America. His father died when his elder brother Ankit was just 6 years old. The mother raised both sons and carried forward. Brother Ankit first went to America and then Amit also insisted on going there. It took Amit about 7 months to reach the US while traveling with Dunky route. Going there, he worked in the first store and then started driving by getting the license of the truck driver.

Talked to brother on phone 15 minutes before death Just 15 minutes before the accident, Amit spoke to his brother on the phone. He had told that he was returning by emptying the truck and got diesel. The conversation was normal and no one had an idea that this would prove to be Amit’s last call. His truck fell victim to the accident at around 9:30 and he was burnt alive. The police have taken the burnt body parts and sent it for postmortem. Now the body will be handed over to the family only after the DNA report comes. The report will take 5 to 6 days to come.
