The Supreme Court on Monday reprimanded an Israeli businessman living in Goa. The court asked what was his daughters and his Russian mother living in the cave in the forest of Karnataka, what was he doing in Goa? The court asked if it had valid documents to live in India.
The court made this comment when the businessman sought the custody of his two daughters and demanded a ban on the process of sending them to Russia. A bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi said that this country has now become a safe base where anyone can come and live.
On July 11, 40 -year -old Russian woman Nina Kuti and her two daughters were rescued during police routine patrolling in the forest of Ramtirtha Hills, Kumta Taluka, Karnataka. He did not have valid documents to live in India, so he was sent to the restriction center in Karnataka.
On September 26, the Karnataka High Court directed the Central Government to issue a travel document to send the woman and her daughters to Russia. Against this, Israeli Citizen Dar Sahlomo Goldstein filed a petition in the Supreme Court.
Show documents to be the father of girls: Court
During the hearing, Justice Suryakant asked who you are, what is your right? Show any official documents in which you have been described as the father of the girls. He also said that why should we not order you to check.
The Russian woman herself expressed her desire to return to Russia
The High Court had said in the order that the woman and her daughters had been living in India without valid documents for two months. The woman herself wrote a letter to the Russian Embassy, expressing her desire to return to Russia as soon as possible. The High Court said that in the interest of children, they return to Russia with their mother.
Kutiina along with both daughters was placed at the detention center for foreign women in Tumkur.
Claims to be the husband of Israeli businessman, Kutiina said- she is not a husband
Based on the rescue and initial investigation of the Russian woman and her children, the police said that Nina had come to India on a business visa in 2016. The visa ended about 8 years ago. Since then she was illegally living in India. About a week later, Goldstein, an Israeli citizen in the media, claimed that she is the husband of Kutina.
Goldstein also claims that he met Kutina in Goa about 8 years ago. Both fell in love. These children belong to him. He is seeking legal help to meet the children. On Goldstein’s claims, Kutiina replied, ‘She is not my husband. We never married. Nor is he the father of any of my children. I definitely have my identity with him.
‘He is just bothering me and my children. They stop taking decisions for us. We want to stay away from him. His parents are quite rich. He has become addicted to getting the desired things. Our whole life is being ruined due to his stubbornness.
