A truck crushed people involved in the Ganesh Visarjan procession on Friday night in Hassan district of Karnataka. 8 people died, 20 people are injured. The incident took place at around 8.45 am in Mosale Hosahali village.
According to the police, most of the deceased are young boys. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. Eyewitness said, the truck was coming from Arkalagudu.
