The State Investigation Agency (State Investigation Agency) continues to raid several places in Srinagar in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Kashmiri Pandit Mahila Sarla Bhat in 1990. With the help of police and CRPF, SIA teams are raiding 8 places across the city. The case is related to the kidnapping and murder of the Kashmiri Pandit woman during the extreme of terrorism in the valley in April 1990.
Who was Sarla Bhat, whose case file opened after 35 years
Anantnag’s 27-year-old Kashmiri Pandit Nurse Sarla Bhat, Sarla Bhat, worked at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Saura, Srinagar. On 18 April 1990, he was abducted from Habba Khatoon Hostel and the next morning a bullet -riddled corpse was found on the road of Omar Colony in Mallabagh, Saura.
A case of murder was registered at the Nigin police station, but the criminals could not be detected in that time investigation.
