Police officer said- On October 9, Chintu was returning home in Scorpio with his wife and children. Munfed Khan, a resident of Kamla Colony, who runs a dhaba near the bank, was ambushed along with about 10 people including his associates Dinu, Sahil alias Sanda, Agaru, Irfan, Ashu, Yusuf, Sahil, Hakam.
The accused vandalized the car with sticks and attacked. During this time he called his cousin Karan. After some time his Karan, Amit and Angad reached the spot.
While trying to defend himself, Ali and Munfed hit Karan on the head with the rim of the bicycle. Due to this he got seriously injured and fell down. At the same time, Chintu was attacked with an iron rod, due to which one of his hands was fractured.
It is alleged that accused Pale Khan also tried to fire from a country-made pistol, but the bullet was not fired. The accused fled after the attack. Police also reached the spot on information.
Colleagues took Karan and Chintu to Sania Hospital, where Karan died during treatment on October 10.
