During the Kinnaur Kailash Yatra, the body of another devotee has been found today i.e. on Sunday. A person’s body has been found above Solard. Temple committee member Sunil Negi and Home Guard Ranjit Singh saw the dead body on the journey route above Parvati Kund.

The deceased has been identified as Dipankar Kirtania with the Aadhaar card found near the body. He was a resident of Chandiberia South, Rajarhat Gopalpur, Krishnapur in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The rescue team was sent to the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Its information was immediately given to police personnel posted in Malingkhata and Ganesh Park and members of the cave QRT.
Rajesh, the investigation officer of the police station, has been instructed to bring the dead body to the rescue. At present, efforts are being made to bring the body to a safe place. With this incident, four devotees have died on the Kinnar Kailash Yatra route so far. Further action continues to find out the cause of the incident.
