Angered by the disappearance of the pet dog in Khargone, the Reserve Inspector (RI) beat up the constable. The constable alleges that RI and his wife had racist abuses and beat him with belt.

The case is on 23 August. After the video of showing injuries on social media went viral, the aggrieved constable Rahul Chauhan has given a written complaint to the Ajak (Scheduled Castes/Tribe) police station on Wednesday.
In this video, he is showing blue scars on his hands, feet, waist and back. The SP has ordered an inquiry into the case. Guma Dog was found near the house in the evening the next day after 20 hours at around 10 pm on 23 August.

Called at government residence at half past one in the night Constable Rahul Chauhan said that his duty was on RI Saurabh Kushwaha’s government residence. When RI Kushwaha returned home after completing duty at 10 pm on August 23, Rahul came to his quarters. Late at around 1:30 pm, RI called him and asked him to come immediately. When Rahul arrived, RI expressed displeasure over the disappearance of his pet dog. Then beat him.
Rahul has given a written complaint to Ajak police station. According to this, RI’s wife was also present during the fight. He also threatened to get out of the job along with the slippers.

RI and wife will be questioned The police have conducted a medical examination of the constable. SP Dharmaraj Meena has directed to investigate the case. According to him, further action will be taken after questioning RI Saurabh Kushwaha and his wife.

SDOP Rohit Lakhare and Kotwali TI BL Mandloi reached and advised to take action at the department level as per rules. Angry activists staged a sit-in on Khandwa-Vadodara road.
