1. People of Gujarat said- Fire around, impossible to avoid curfew
The people of Surat, trapped at Pokhara Guest House in Nepal, recorded violent performance from the balcony.
More than 300 people in Gujarat are stranded in Nepal. These include 43 from Rajkot, 9 from Ahmedabad and 50 to 55 from Rajkot. All these people have taken shelter in local hotels and old age homes. These people also have Surat National Bank director Deongbhai Choksi and his family.
He spoke to Surat MP Mukesh Dalal through a video call and told about the terrible situation there. According to Devangbhai, there were incidents of arson and violence all around till 10 September. There is also a power failure in the hotel in which he stayed. Every moment is becoming like a conflict between life and death.
2. Tourists said- trapped at the airport for three days, did not eat enough food
About 200 people from Jaipur have been stranded since 9 September outside Kathmandu Airport.
About 500 people from Jaipur went on a trip to 3 Dham in different groups by 10 buses. One of these group buses came under target of stone -pelters on 8 September. The bus was damaged. However, all passengers are safe. These people reached Nepal on the night of 6-7 September. After visiting the temples there, they stayed in hotels. Violence started on the same day.
Around 200 people from Jaipur have been stranded at Kathmandu Airport since 9 September. The Bhaskar team spoke to the people trapped at Kathmandu Airport on a video call. Sattar Khan of Jaipur told that we were trying to leave, but the army stopped us. All flights are currently closed. In such a situation, we are imprisoned here. Has not eaten enough food for three days. Everything is so expensive that it has come to die of hunger.
