A terrorist was killed by security forces in Kulgam in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning. This is the second day of the operation of security forces against terrorists in Akhhal forest of Kulgam. Firing has been going on from both sides since morning. Special Operation Group, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF are carrying out operations.

This is the third encounter in this hut. 5 days ago, on July 28, security forces killed 3 militants involved in the Pahalgam attack in Lidwas forests, 22 km from Srinagar. This operation, which lasted for about 6 hours, was named Operation Mahadev. The terrorists were identified as Suleman alias Asif, Jibran and Hamza alias Faizal Afghani. All three were from Pakistan.

After this, two more terrorists were killed near LOC in Poonch on 31 July. Police said that both had infiltrated from Pakistan. He was stopped as soon as he entered the Indian border.
