The monsoon session of Parliament ended today (21 August). The session started from July 21. A total of 21 meetings were held throughout the session. The discussion time of 120 hours in the Lok Sabha was scheduled for only 37 hours. At the same time, there was a 41 -hour discussion in the Rajya Sabha.

During this period, 12 bills passed in Lok Sabha and 15 bills in Rajya Sabha. The most talked about bill was arrested by the arrested PM-CM and the constitutional amendment bill removing ministers. A proposal to send it to JPC was passed.

The session began with resignation in the session between Jagdeep Dhankhar, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha. During the entire session, the opposition staged a ruckus and protest demanding a discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar, which could not take action.

On 28 and 29 July, there was a special discussion on Operation Sindoor, which ended with PM Modi’s reply. On August 18, special discussions started on the achievements of the country’s successful space program but remained inconclusive.

419 questions were placed in the agenda in the Lok Sabha, but only 55 questions could be answered due to the uproar of the opposition. At the same time, 285 questions were placed in the Rajya Sabha in the agenda but 14 questions could be answered.

July 21: Jagdeep Dhankhar resigns from the post of Vice President in Rajya Sabha

Jagdeep Dhankhar suddenly resigned as the 14th Vice President of the country on the night of 21 July. The tenure of 74 -year -old Dhankar was till 10 August 2027. Dhankar, who resigned in the beach session, is the first Vice President.

July 22: Opposition’s uproar over Bihar sir from first day to last day

On the second day of the monsoon session, on July 22, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha opposition created a ruckus over Bihar SIR. MPs protested inside and outside the House. The protests continued throughout the session, so that the entire day’s proceedings could not be taken in both the House.

July 29: Operation Sindoor 16 hours discussion, sharp debate between PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi

On July 29, there was a 16 -hour -long debate on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha. PM Modi and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi participated in it.

Rahul Gandhi said a 36 -minute speech, ‘If there is power, then the Prime Minister should say in the House here that he is lying. Operation Sindoor had a debate in the Lok Sabha for more than 16 hours.

PM Modi said without naming Trump in an hour -40 -minute speech, “No country in the world has stopped India from taking action in its security during Operation Sindoor.”

July 29: Nadda apologizes to Kharge

BJP President JP Nadda had to apologize to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge during a discussion on Operation Sindoor on July 29 in the Rajya Sabha. Kharge earlier said that who is responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack, vacate the chair. If no one is responsible, then the PM should answer.

To this, JP Nadda said, ‘He (Kharge) has commented on the Prime Minister, I can understand his suffering. He has been kept sitting there for 11 years. They are losing mental balance and talking in this way.

Kharge got angry. He said that his minister speaks Mantle and loses the balance. After this, JP Nadda said that if your feelings have been hurt, then I also apologize for this. After this, Nadda’s comment was removed from the House’s record.

August 12: Impeachment in Parliament against Justice Yashwant Verma

On August 12, Speaker Om Birla approved the impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma of Allahabad High Court in the cash case case. The speaker said, “I have received a proposal with a total of 146 members, including Ravi Shankar Prasad and the Leader of the Opposition.”

He said that in this proposal, there is a demand to remove Justice Yashwant Verma of Allahabad High Court from the post. The speaker announced a 3 -member committee for investigation.

August 20: Opposition MPs thrown paper shells on Home Minister Amit Shah

In the Lok Sabha, Amit Shah introduced three bills on August 20, while the opposition tore his copy and bounced the paper on the Home Minister. Some opposition MPs also threw paper shells and threw them at them. The bill was then sent to JPC.

There is a provision in these bills- PM, CM or any minister stays in custody for a crime or for 30 days, in which he is punished for five years, he will be removed from the post.

August 21: Bill passed on online money games

On the last day of the Parliament session, the bill that banned online money games from Rajya Sabha passed. It was passed in the Lok Sabha a day earlier. After the law is enacted, money based online games like Fantasy Sports like Dream-11, Rumi, Poker will be banned.
