PM Narendra Modi is coming to Bihar on a one -day visit on Friday i.e. 18 July. This time PM Modi will start projects worth 7196 crore to Bihar.

These include projects worth 1173 crore from Ministry of Roads and Transport Highways and 63 crore from the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology.
Most of the railway will lay the foundation stone of 5398 crore projects. 162 crore will be transferred to 40 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
12 thousand beneficiaries will have home entry. While 61 thousand 500 will release 400 crores to self -help groups.
Along with this, PM will also address a public meeting here. This is the fifth visit of Bihar in 2025. Earlier, he has addressed a public meeting in the area of Siwan, Bhagalpur, Madhubani, Patna, Shahabad.
Before the tour, the PM wrote on X- ‘Tomorrow July 18 is going to be historic in Bihar’s Vikas Yatra. In Motihari at around 11.30 am, the inauguration of many projects related to connectivity, IT and startups will be good for the inauguration of the state. This will open many doors of opportunities for the people here.
PM will come to the stage to greet people by car
1.25 lakh chairs have been installed for the PM’s program. 4 lakh people are expected to come to the meeting. People will join it from 24 assembly. The 12 assembly of Motihari, Shivhar as well as Baruraj, Sahebganj will also attend this meeting. At the same time, there is a water system and washroom at a distance of 50 feet.
PM will reach the stage from the helipad to the stage to greet about 500 meters. For this, the way has been prepared from the middle of the pandal. From this route, PM Modi will reach the stage with CM Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Sinha and Governor in the open jeep. During this time, flowers will be rained on the PM’s car.
In this tent, CM, Governor and Deputy CM will stop for some time. Different tents have been made for all.
PM Modi will flag off Amrit Bharat train
PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 700 crore only for East Champaran during this period. Also, 4 Amrit Bharat will flag off the train for the country. One of these trains will run between Motihari to Delhi.
PM Modi will dedicate automatic signaling facility to the nation on Samastipur-Bachwara rail section. Apart from this, doubling of Darbhanga-Thalwara and Samastipur-Rambhadrapur railway line, which is part of the Darbhanga-Samastipur doubling project of 580 crore. This will reduce the lethality of trains and increase speed.
Foundation of maintenance facility of Vande India trains in Pataliputra
PM will lay the foundation stone of several railway projects. Rail projects include development of infrastructure for maintenance of Vande India trains in Pataliputra. Bhatni-Chhapra will introduce automatic signaling on the rural railway line (114 km).
To further strengthen the railway connectivity of Bihar, the foundation stone of the doubling project of Darbhanga-Narkatiaganj railway line will be laid. The project will cost around Rs 4,080 crore. With this, North Bihar will be connected to the rest of the country.
