PM Modi addressed the rally at Khodaldham Ground in Ahmedabad on Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day Gujarat tour on 25-26 August. PM Modi reached Ahmedabad at 4.30 pm on 25 August. After this, he addressed a public meeting at Khodaldham Ground by doing a 3 km long road show from Naroda to Nicole area.
Maruti will visit Suzuki’s plant On the second day of his visit, the PM will visit the Maruti Suzuki plant in Hansalpur in Ahmedabad district at around 10 am on Tuesday morning. Here he will start the new EV unit of the company. Battery electric vehicles (BEV) will inaugurate “E Vitara”.
After the inauguration of the PM, production of the first batch of the electric vehicle of this brand will also start. This car of the company will be the first car in the electric SUV segment.
The Modi plant will also flag off a freight train service filled with cars. A senior Railway Ministry official said that currently a total of three trains are running from the plant, which transport 600 cars daily.

Will also inaugurate the next phase of battery ecosystem The Prime Minister will then inaugurate the next phase of India’s battery ecosystem with the introduction of local production of hybrid battery electrodes at TDS Lithium-ion battery plant in Gujarat. It is a joint venture of Toshiba, Denso and Suzuki. With this, more than eighty percent of batteries will be produced in India itself. After these programs, PM will leave for Delhi.
