Question 1. Who will benefit from this? answer- This scheme is for all the people of Punjab. Earlier, people were stuck in the circle of blue-yellow cards. Now every resident of Punjab will be eligible through health card.
Question 2. How many can you get treatment? answer- Treatment of up to 10 lakh rupees can be done in this. There will be a facility to treat up to 10 lakhs every year.
Question 3. Is this card different from the central and state government scheme? answer- Yes, earlier the schemes being run by the state and central government used to get treatment up to Rs 5 lakh free, but it will be able to get up to 10 lakh treatment.
Question 4. What is the formality to make a card? answer- No major formality has been kept to make cards. In this, anyone can register with their Aadhaar card or voter card and a passport size photo.
Question 5. Where will the card be made? answer- The government is delivering this scheme itself to the people. Currently, camps are starting in Sangrur and Tarn Taran. Soon, camps will be organized in other districts as well.
Question 6. Which disease will be covered? answer- According to CM Mann’s statement, every disease will be covered. However, the government can also release its list.
