On August 1, Minister Harjot Singh Bains and Language Department Director Jaswant Singh Zafar were ordered to appear personally in front of five Singh Sahibans. The meeting was postponed that day. Both were asked to appear on 6 August. The meeting will be chaired by acting Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj.
However, Zafar will not appear due to being abroad. He has told Mr. Akal Takht that he will be introduced personally due to the family ceremony. Their demand has been accepted.

Bir Singh said that I had reached Srinagar directly from Australia. The mobile network was closed there, due to which I could not get clear information about the nature of the program. When I realized on the stage that this program was dedicated to the martyrdom of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, I immediately accepted my mistake, apologized to Sangat, took off shoes and recited ‘Shlok Mahala 9’.
He further said that the biggest mistake was that of my management team, which did not tell me the seriousness of this religious program. I have removed that team and will participate in an event with full dignity and information in future.

Harjot Bains wrote- Lord you forgive On July 27, after singer Bir Singh’s apology and summons, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains posted a post on social media platform x. He apologized while sharing a line of Gurbani. Bains wrote- “We are always crime and mistake, but you (O Lord) are always forgiven.”

Jathedar said- these Sikh against dignity Sardar Bagicha Singh, in -charge of the Secretariat of Shri Akal Takht Sahib, said that both officers have been issued an official letter and informed to appear. Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj said that persons sitting in constitutional positions have moral and religious responsibility towards the society and in such serious cases their silence raises many questions. This is the first time a martyr centenary celebrations were started with dancing and entertainment, which is completely opposite to Sikh dignity and emotions.
