Rahul Gandhi answered media questions outside Parliament after attending the Mansu session.
Congress MP and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission of cheating in Karnataka amid opposition from the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voters list in Bihar. Rahul said outside Parliament on Thursday that thousands of bogus voters were added in Karnataka in the name of Voter List Revision.
Rahul said, ‘The Election Commission cheated on one seat in Karnataka. We have 100% evidence of this. Thousands of new voters of 50, 60 and 65 years have been added to the list in the same constituency and the voters above 18 years of age have been removed from the list.
The Congress MP said, ‘We got this disturbance in the investigation of one seat. I am very sure that this drama is going on in every seat. I want to give a message to the Election Commission. If you feel that you will escape from it, if your officials think they will survive, then these are your misunderstandings. We will not survive you. ‘
Congress, RJD, Samajwadi Party and other opposition parties are opposing SIR in Bihar. They allege that this is an attempt to prevent people from backward communities of Bihar from voting. Through this, people’s names are being removed from the voters list, which may affect the results of the assembly elections to be held this year.
