On the other hand, Constable Deepak said in interrogation that he had only a bar in contact with Divya as a bar dancer. Divya had never told her before that she is married.
In this case, constable Deepak has got anticipatory bail from the Punjab and Haryana High Court, while Magan’s wife Divya is to be heard in Rohtak court today on bail.
Magan Suhag died on June 18 by hanging himself. Before dying, the video went viral, in which he had said to die after being fed up with Divya’s infidelity.

- Friendship on Instagram, married in ground greed: Divya confessed, “Instagram befriended Magan of village Dobh. Magan said that she had good land. Magan got married to Magan in 2019. The family members were against this love marriage. After this, the maternal uncle stopped the conversation with me. There was no conversation with the brother.”
- In -laws did not like working in hotels: Divya further admitted, “I used to work in hotels in Gujarat earlier. After marriage, Magan’s housemates used to interrupt me from working in hotels. That is why I started renting with Magan in Rohtak. During this time I had a son in 2021, after which I started living back with in -laws in village Dobh.”
- When I came to meet me, the in -laws would interrupt: Divya said, “Whenever someone came to meet me in the in -laws in village Dobh, Magan’s family used to interrupt him. Due to this I started living under pressure. I left Magan and son and went to Mumbai. I started working in the dance bar in hotels to earn money.”
- Offensive videos made in hotels with Deepak: According to the police challan, Divya confessed, “I started going to the hotel rooms with Deepak. In the room, he used to make objectionable videos with Deepak. One day Deepak said that Magan had money and I need promotion.” On this, I asked for money from Magan. Deepak insisted for money.
- Transfer of money to HDFC bank account: Divya said, “Magan transferred 96,000 and 94,000 rupees to HDFC Bank on 9 June under her pressure. On June 9, I made two transactions worth Rs 49-49 thousand and on June 10, two transactions of 49-49 thousand rupees were made online in the account of the lamp. Magan came to know about putting my money in Deepak’s account, after which Magan came to know, after which Magan was told with Magan.”
- Debate with Magan on conference call on 18 June: Further said, “After Magan and I put each other’s phone number in the black list. On June 18, Magan talked on the conference call on my friend Raveena’s phone, which got into an argument with Magan. Magan said that ‘I am dying.’ I was already upset. I said on the phone, “Otherwise I will come there and kill you”.
- Magan hanged on seeing objectionable videos: Divya confessed, “I and Deepak started thinking about harassing Magan together. Magan committed suicide by hanging himself on the night of June 18 after getting upset with me and watching the objectionable video made with Deepak. I made an objectionable video with my lover Deepak in my same phone, which met Goa.”

1. What is your name, address and mobile number? Lamp: I am a resident of Deepak Utam Rao Sonawane, Village Ghatambari, Taluka Sillod, District Aurangabad (Sambhaji Nagar), Maharashtra.
2. What do you do? Lamp: I am posted in the post of constable in Maharashtra Police, Pishore police station Talluka Kannada Jula Aurangabad Rural.
3. If you are married or not, if you are married then what is your wife’s name and family details? Lamp: Yes I am married. My wife’s name is Aarti. I have 2 children, a boy age 10 years, a girl is 4 years old. My parents are alive, they live in the village and I live in Pishore town along with my children.
4. How do you know Divya and when did you know? Lamp: I met Divya for the first time on 17 April 2025 in Saptagiri Dance Bar of Panvel. After the dance bar ended, we met in a private room. On April 18, there was talk of meeting Divya at 3 am, and Divya gave a mobile number on which I sent Rs 4000 through Google Pay.
Divya stayed with me till 5 am. Later, I sent Rs 3000 through Google Pay on the same number scanner at 3:58 pm. Subsequently, sent 7000 rupees on the same scanner at 11:18 pm. I once knew Divya as a dancer. After this, Divya and me started having a phone conversation, and we also started chatting and video calls on the phone.
5. You used to transact money with Divya and Divya had put you money in your account on 9-6-2025 and 10.6.2025. Was he for your promotion? Lamp: After getting information with my Divya on 17 April 2025, there was a transaction of money. Whenever Divya used to send a scanner and I used to put the money in the scanner. On April 20, Rs 1500 was taken from Rs 1500, Rs 1500 on 24 April, Rs 3000 on April 28, Rs 10,000 on May 9, 40,000 rupees on 16 May. We used to meet in the hotel too.
When I needed money, Divya made two transactions of 49-49 thousand rupees from her account on June 9 to my account. On June 10, he also made so many transactions. In this way, Divya gave a total of 1.96 lakh rupees, but due to fear after Magan’s suicide on June 18, I returned all those money to Divya. Later Divya said that she now needs money in court and she has no money.
6. Who do you know in Divya’s family. If you know, you used to talk to a family or not? Lamp: I do not know any family of Divya. There was no talk with my family of Divya.
7. Did Divya tell anything about her marriage and family? Lamp: Yes, Divya had told about her family that I am an orphan. There is no one in the family. Then I became a dancer in the bar and run my life with him. Did not tell about my marriage and I started to sympathize with him. I do not know more than that.
8. What is the distance of Panvel from where you are posting. Lamp: Is about 300 kilometers.
9. You used to go to Panvel for duty or go for any other work? Lamp: I used to go for a walk in Panvel to enjoy the dance bar. I did not go for any government work.
10. When did Divya tell you that Magan has committed suicide? Lamp: On June 19, Divya told that my husband has committed suicide. I said that you had no husband. Then Divya told that I come to you the whole thing. Then she came to Sambhaji Nagar on 19 June and told all the things. Later, after the video went viral, I came to know that Divya’s husband has also given my name. Then I was afraid and I took leave. After that I did not go on duty and reached the court after being left out of duty.
