Mohan Bhagwat had reached the program of Maharaja of Nagpur Trust in Nagpur on Friday.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat said, ‘Many people in the country were proud of Hindutva and talked about Hindu unity, but an organization like RSS could be formed only in Nagpur. There was already a feeling of sacrifice and social service here.
He said- RSS recently completed 100 years on Dussehra. It was established in the year 1925 by Dr. Hedgewar in Nagpur. The objective of the organization was to create a sense of discipline, service, cultural awareness and social responsibility in the society.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established Swaraj not for himself, but for God, religion and nation. He united people for a great cause. Their sense of unity gave strength to the society. As long as his ideals remained alive, progress and development continued in the society. His ideas later inspired the freedom struggle of 1857.
Bhagwat said- learn from history
The RSS chief said that the British rule systematically tried to eliminate the symbols and traditions that united Indians. So learn from history and remember the selfless spirit of those who worked for the welfare of the society and country.

On October 2, on the occasion of Vijayadashami, at the centenary celebrations of RSS (100 men), Mohan Bhagwat had said that in the Pahalgam attack, terrorists killed Hindus by asking about their religion. Our government and army responded to this. From this incident we came to know about friend and enemy.
He had said that we have to have understanding in international relations. The Pahalgam incident taught us that even though we have and will maintain friendship with everyone, we have to be more alert and capable about our security. Centenary celebrations: These programs will be held in the country from this Dussehra to next Dussehra
1. Vijayadashami Celebration: Participation of uniformed volunteers and their families at Mandal and Basti level. Across the country from October 2, starting from Mahalaya in Bengal.
2. Home Contact Campaign: By visiting every house, information about the Sangh will be given for 15 minutes. The program will run for three weeks.
3. Public seminars: Dialogue between labor unions, auto drivers and the intelligentsia.
4. Hindu Conference: Conferences connecting social classes at city and block level. The earlier ones took place in 1989 and 2006.
5. Harmony Meetings: 1 month participation of prominent social workers, organizations and saints.
6. Youth Conference: Conference for youth aged 15-40, including sports.
7. Branch Extension: One week expansion of morning and evening branches across the country.
