Four members of the same family committed suicide in the house late Friday night in village Tihar of Khurai in Sagar district. Police are investigating the reasons for mass suicide by reaching the spot. No reason has been revealed yet.

According to the information, Manohar Lodhi (45), Maa Phoolrani (70), daughter Shivani (18) and son Aniket (16) were living in a house built in the field near the village of Tehar. His wife went to her maternal home a few days ago.
Hearing the sound of vomiting on Friday night, Manohar’s brother, who lives on the upper floor, came down. Seeing the whole family vomiting, he told the family members. The police was immediately informed and with the help of the villagers, everyone was taken to the hospital.
During this, Phoolrani and Aniket died on the spot. Shivani died in Khurai Hospital, while Manohar died on the way to the district hospital.
The brother living together told people after hearing the voice Manohar’s brother Nandram told that he has another brother on the second floor of the house built in the field. Hearing the sound of loudly coughing from below at night, he went, where the whole family was vomiting. He immediately informed the people around.
Manohar and Shivani were rushed to the hospital, while mother Phoolrani and Aniket had died on the spot. Later Shivani died on the way to the civil hospital and Bhai Manohar on the way to the district hospital.

There are three more brothers in the family besides Manohar. Govind, Jagdish and Nandram. Manohar was the youngest among them. Intellectual Divyang Jagdish lived with his brother Manohar in a house built in the field, he is not married. Son Aniket was a student of 9th. Betti Shivani studied in the college first year.
Manohar was a prosperous farmer of village, he had 3 acres of land, in which soybean crop was planted. No one knows why he committed suicide in such a situation.
