Senior advocate Rakesh Dwivedi said on behalf of the Election Commission-

Some mistakes were natural in this type of exercise. It can be corrected to claim that the dead were declared dead and alive, as it was a draft.
On this, the Supreme Court said-

Be prepared with facts and data, as many other questions will arise before the process starts before the process, the number of voters, and now the number of dead.
The case is being heard in the bench of Supreme Court Justice Suryakant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi.

Earlier, during the hearing on July 29, the court had said that if the names of the voters are cut on a large scale, then we will intervene.
Petitioners challenging SIR say that the names of 65 lakh voters are being cut. It is being said that some of them have left their home and gone somewhere else, some have died.
Earlier, the Supreme Court refused to stay the SIR. The Supreme Court had told the ADR- ‘If there is a flaw, the whole process will be canceled.’

The Election Commission had said, ‘Ration card cannot be considered. It is made on a very large scale, it is more likely to be fake. ‘
SC had said- If it is a matter of fraud, then there is no such document on the earth, which could not be copied. In such a situation, what is the basis of your list of 11 documents?
On August 8, the court sought concrete arguments from the petitioners
Earlier, the court had asked the petitioners to give concrete basis and arguments of the allegations made in its petition by 8 August.

At the same time, in the reply filed before the hearing in the Supreme Court on August 12, the Election Commission has said that it is doing its work in a legal manner. Such a law is not necessarily made public of names with the draft list. The Election Commission has told the Supreme Court that no voter’s name will be removed from the list during SIR.
NGO filed a petition
Following the order given by the Election Commission about the voter list revision on 24 June, the NGO filed a petition and raised many serious questions.
Recently, another application was made by the NGO in the Supreme Court, which said that the names of 65 lakh removed voters should be made public.
