A 19 -year -old college student was gangraped near the beach in Puri, Odisha. The incident took place on Saturday but the victim lodged an FIR on Monday.

According to the victim, she went to the Baliharchandi temple with her friend. Which is 500 meters from the beach, from there to a nearby forest. The accused were already present there.

The accused made a video of the boy and the girl. Then blackmailed and started asking for money. When refused, they tied the boy’s hands. Then two accused raped the girl.

According to the SP Prateek Singh of Puri, the victim was in shock for two days. On Monday, he gathered courage and lodged a police complaint. At present, three accused have been arrested.
