On Monday, September 8, the youth took to the streets against the government in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. On September 4, the youth fought against the ban on 26 platforms, so far 22 were killed and more than 300 were injured in violent clashes.

The foundation of the movement was laid from Facebook and some other social media platforms using the hashtag #stop_craps, #Genz Nepal and #Wakeup_nepal. The Facebook post of Kathmandu’s Mayor and Nepali rapper Balen Shah played a big role in making it more and more youth.
