CJI Bhushan arrived at Gawai Dariyapur to inaugurate the new court building.

Chief Justice of India (CJI) Bhushan Gawai on Friday suggested decentralization of the judiciary to deliver justice to the house of the public. He arrived in his ancestral district of Amravati to inaugurate the court building in the town of Amravati.

CJI Gawai said that as the head of the Judicial Infrastructure Committee, he has prepared a model for the establishment of new taluka and district courts. Their proposal is working, but the red tape in the courts and the government is the same.

CJI said that he has come in Dariyapur not as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, but as a resident of the district. He hoped that the Dariyapur court would ensure that justice reaches the last person in the society.
