The Election Commission of India can also announce the date of Tarn Taran in Punjab with the schedule of Bihar assembly elections today (6 October). For this, a press conference has been called at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi at 4 pm.

The term of Bihar Legislative Assembly ends on 22 November. Therefore, it is necessary to complete the entire election process before 22 November. It is estimated that the Tarn Taran by -election will also be held during these dates.
Before the announcement of the election, all major parties have declared their candidate. With the announcement of the election, the election code of conduct will come into force. After this, the declared candidates will start their campaign.
These are the candidates of 4 major parties
1. AAP gave defects a chance For the Tarn Taran by -election in Punjab, 4 major parties Congress, AAP, Akali Dal and BJP have fielded their candidates. Among them, AAP has once again given a chance to Dalbadlu. CM Bhagwant Mann declared Harmeet Sandhu as a candidate on Friday. He left the Akali Dal and joined the AAP.
The AAP, who won 92 out of 117 seats in 2022, contested and won in most of the by -elections in Punjab seats. The AAP won the by -elections in 3 seats before Tarn Taran.

2. Congress chose the Takasali leader, Congress has nominated Karanbir Singh Burj from here. Burj has been the Vice President of Congress Kisan Sale and is a senior Congress leader in the district. He has also been the State Vice President of Congress Kisan Cell. Burj is related to the Tarn Taran region and has been continuously raising local issues and peasant problems of the region. He is considered a supporter and close of Punjab Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa.
3. BJP also gave ticket to former Akali The BJP has appointed former Akali and Youth Akali leader Harjit Singh Sandhu as candidate. He has been fulfilling the responsibility of the District President of BJP Tarn Taran since December 2022. He is considered a good hold in local politics and organization. He started his political career with the Youth Wing of Shiromani Akali Dal in 2007, but he joined the BJP before the 2022 assembly elections.
4. Akali Dal joined hands with Azad Group Shiromani Akali Dal has nominated Principal Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa as a candidate in Tarn Taran by -election. He is identified as a prominent leader of “Azad Group”. Local group civic elections under his leadership were contested, followed by 43 sarpanch, 8 city councilors and several former chairman with him. Therefore, their support base is considered quite strong. Sukhwinder Kaur has been the first school principal. Because of this, the local people have the image of his social worker and disciplined leadership.
