Kedarnath and Sri Hemkund Sahib received snowfall.
Along with Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand, the first snowfall of the season also started in Hemkund Sahib. The Kedarnath temple covered in a white sheet due to the sudden snowfall, while the snow also fell near the high peaks of Badrinath Dham and the Valley of Flowers.

The devotees who arrived here had to face problems due to snowfall. The slippery on the paths has increased and many passengers stopped before moving towards the temple. At the same time, the Hemkund Sahib Management Trust advised the devotees not to move beyond Ghangharia in view of security.
Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Dehradun and Haridwar of Garhwal division received continuous rains. In many areas including Nainital, Almora, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Champawat in Kumaon, the rain continued intermittently. The Meteorological Department has issued Yellow and Orange Alerts for the next two days.
