In the training session, MPs will be informed about putting the right mark on the ballot paper, using the pen given by the Election Officer and putting the ballot paper in the box correctly and putting it inside the box. So that the votes are not invalid.
Actually, the party whip does not apply in secret voting. In such a situation, the focus of NDA is on stopping cross voting and reducing illegal votes. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also perform dinner for NDA MPs on the night of 8 September, a day before voting.
Voting will be held on 9 September for the Vice Presidential election. There will also be counting on the same day. In fact, the Vice President is being elected due to Jagdeep Dhankhar’s sudden resignation on the night of 21 July. The tenure of 74 -year -old Dhankar was till 10 August 2027.

After the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting, on August 17, NDA nominated Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan as Vice Presidential candidate.
