The Election Commission has changed the way to delete votes online on its website and app amid allegations of vote theft on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Election Commission (EC). Now the person doing this will have to e-sign, for which a mobile number related to Aadhaar will be needed.

While sharing the reports of the English newspaper Indian Express on X, Rahul wrote- Dnyanesh ji, we caught theft when you remembered to lock. Now we will also catch the thieves. So tell me, when are you giving evidence to CID?

EC has taken this decision amid allegations of Rahul Gandhi’s attempt to remove more than 6000 votes in Aland, Karnataka.

In fact, Rahul Gandhi has alleged many times that elections were won by large-scale disturbances in the voter list, illegal additions of votes and misuse of institutions.
